Contacts. The app that is rarely used, but the one that is the foundation of any personal information management system.
In this version, I was considering what could make this app more useful. The idea is that you can start various workflows from here such as sending an email, starting a chat or making a call. Of course it should support the various players in the market, but also have a stong integration to the CardDAV protocol, or something similar.
I managed to tweak the AI to give me some mock-ups that are more in line with what an actual app should look like, and the over the top movie app it gave me earlier.
That being said, I am not convinced that the design really stands out in a meaningful way. Perhaps there’s not much more to do in this product category as it reached maturity a long time ago. Besides, email is probably not heavily used by consumers, chat is probably an more interesting product to look at. Something for next project.
