Remember Netscape?
I used to use Netscape and was a huge fan. To this day Netscape 7.2 is still the best browser I have used. At least my foggy brain tells me it was excellent. Many people believe that Netscape lost the browser war to Microsoft, and although that might be somewhat truthful, I still think selling out to AOL was the first nail in the coffin. I mean, AOL, seriously?
Anyway, Engadget has a pretty cool article that makes for a nice trip down memory lane.
Turns out you can still download Netscape Navigator from Cnet.
Is this real or just spam
Here’s to hoping it’s the real deal.
Note to self when starting a new project
Add all project members to contact list in Outlook and sync with phone. You will definitely have to call one of them in panic when you are in transit
Organize Sharepoint site from day one. At the end of the project you will need that specification you wrote 7 months ago. And you will need it now damn it, NOW!
Start a blog and remember to update it frequently. Any e-mail that requires more than five lines of text is a blog post. Well, maybe not, but you will have to answer the same complicated question again and again, and it will be much easier to refer people to your blog.
Make sure you have access to a function and up-to-date test environment. Chances are you will not be able remember every little intricacy about the system, so having access to a test environment is pretty damn convenient. Besides, testing things in production is not the greatest idea in the world. Trust me.

SkyDrive.exe error: event id 1000, Faulting application name: skydrive.exe
I guess it’s good to see that I am not the only one with this problem.

Another beautiful morning in the country.
Apple No. 1 brand in the world
According to Interbrand Apple is the best brand in the world. Coca Cola has been number one for 13 years straight, but is now down as number three. It’s pretty scary that Apple is number and Google is number two.
Anyway, no real surprise here to be honest. At least we’ve moved from worshipping soft drinks to worshipping technology.
