Yahoo er nok ikke det hotteste brandnavn ude på det store Internet, men alligevel har jeg et svagt punkt over for dem. Det er sikkert fordi Yahho var med til at bringe nettet mainstream, og I mange var et af de mest innovative firmaer på markedet.
Som bekendt er det gået støt og roligt ned ad bakke for Yahoo efter Google baskede dem godt og grundigt på search men de lever endnu, og der kommer da også nye produkter ind imellem, eller I det mindste opdateringer til den allerede eksisterende portefølje.
Jeg har aldrig været den store fan af Yahoo! Mail, fordi den er plasteret til med reklamer, UI er skrækkeligt,, man skal købe sig adgang til POP3 support og IMAP understøttes ikke. Giant fail efter min mening. Den nye beta introducerer et nyt UI, som ligner Hotmail en del, men til trods for det er det en kæmpestor forbedring I forhold til det gamle UI.
